LINUX APPLICATION/PRODUCTION SUPPORT SPECIALIST-(Tomcat/apache/
jboss)

Skills Required:
1. Experience of configuration, installation & managing production support environments of Middleware technologies like application servers รข€" Tomcat/Jboss and web servers Apache and IHS (Both Apache and Tomcat/Jboss are mandatory)
2. Knowledge of monitoring tools like Nagios, SiteScope etc.
3. Working knowledge of OpenVZ/Virtuzzo/VMware.
4. Experience in troubleshooting & fixing production issues.
5. Good Perl/shell scripting knowledge (able to write shell/Perl Script to automate tasks).
6. Worked on any sub versioning tool like CVS or SVN.
7. Working knowledge of Installation and trouble shooting Mysql and PHP issues.
8. A good team player with excellent communication skill.
9. Candidate should have good process knowledge.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Handling Web & Application PRODUCTION servers (Apache and Tomcat/Jboss)
2. Installation, Management & Configuration of Monitoring Tools likes Nagios, Sitescope etc.
3. Managing Web Infrastructure containing several types of server i.e. DB/Web/App Server.
4. Knowledge for Configuration / Change management or new deployments of Application.
5. Using Shell Script for OS/ Application performance improvement. Following existing Policies, creating new policies and implementing them in new / existing Infrastructure.
6. Server health Monitoring and escalating to other level to get the issue fixed.
7. Installation and Administration of both Virtuozzo and its open source counterpart OpenVZ.
8. Ensure resolution of issues within the defined SLA.
9. Handling Teamsite request and troubleshooting Open Deploy issues.
