Job Description

• Actively participate in gathering business requirements, understand and interpret specification documents and translate them into Remedy application based Solutions.
• Support and Maintain the Remedy application as per agreed service level agreements.
• Provide technical/user documentation and training; perform peer reviews of work items produced at various stages of the project.
• Effectively communicate with various teams and stakeholders, escalate technical and managerial issues at the right time and resolve conflicts.
• Demonstrate passion for quality and productivity by use of efficient development techniques, standards and guidelines.
• Analyze development or support requests in to technical design, develop appropriate solution, prepare test plans, develop test cases, do testing and fix bugs reported.
• Participate in project review meetings; adhere to project on quality assurance standards and budgets as part of project execution.

Requirements

• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in Remedy with at least 1 year of Remedy application development experience preferably in a high tech company.
• Excellent knowledge on the AR System 7.x, on the Architecture, Development tools, and Clients (Windows and Web)
• Thorough knowledge to develop / perform administrative tasks to build and customize forms, fields, menus, Active Links, Filters, Escalations and other objects.
• Good knowledge Packaging the customizations, Remedy Migrator and RCS for Remedy objects
• Knowledge on IT Service Management Suite, functional and technical
• Knowledge and understanding of the ITIL concepts – preferable
• Good Knowledge on Crystal Reports
• Must have in depth, hands on technical experience in Oracle 9i and SQL, PL/SQL.
• Working knowledge of UNIX.
• Demonstrable knowledge and/or experience with programming languages such as JAVA, Visual Basic, C, Perl and Shell scripting would be an added advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with credibility at all levels of the organization and a team player outlook with the ability to work well with peers.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Effective analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
